Applique De Marseille
Le Corbusier's Applique de Marseille is a wall lamp with two emissions of light, offered in matt grey or white, with internal diffusers that emit a whitewash. It is dimmable, operated by a single switch and powered by two 52 watt bulbs. Its two cone-like shapes inverted at the joint, create an illusion of two merged lights. Such design brings more light power and casts upward, accentuating the height of the room. Corbusier believed light should be displayed through tangible shapes, allowing no doubt or ambiguity.
