Aromatic bath mat made in Japan from Japanese Hinoki cypress, known for its natural antibacterial resins and refreshing, calming scent. Crafted as an eco-friendly by-product of forest thinning, the wood is prized for its clean aroma and natural resistance to mold, mildew, bacteria, and odor absorption. Ideal for use in the bathroom, shower, or private sauna.

Design - Tosaryu

Dimensions

Medium - L45 x W26 x H2 cm
Large - L60 x W35 x H2 cm

Material - Japanese Hinoki cypress

Care - The hinoki bath mat should be cleaned gently with warm water after use and allowed to dry in a well-ventilated area, ideally standing upright. If a deeper clean is needed, use a mild soap with a soft cloth or brush and rinse thoroughly to remove any residue. Harsh chemicals, prolonged soaking, and dishwasher use should be avoided. Hinoki wood is naturally antibacterial, so it requires very little maintenance and should not be over-cleaned, as this can reduce its natural properties

Reused packaging
Since opening in 2010, we have reused the boxes and packaging materials we receive from our suppliers. More than 95% of the packaging we send out is repurposed, so your order may arrive in a box that has been used before.

We hope you’ll give it another life too—whether as a space rocket, a castle or simply by recycling it.

Returns
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to let us know that you wish to return it. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.

Please contact us before returning an order. Items must be returned in their original condition. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
