The Nychair X 80, originally designed in 1980 and recently relaunched in 2022, draws inspiration from both vintage director's chairs and Danish fabric chairs. Its namesake combines the Ni family name with the Danish word for "new," reflecting its traditional form and portable design. Featuring a distinctive curved frame and a fabric seat with a "hammock-like" effect, this chair offers comfortable seating for living rooms and dens. Its higher seat and upright position make it suitable not only for solitary relaxation, but also for casual gatherings with friends and meals. The chair's sleek and simple design is ideal for any space and its foldable frame allows for easy storage. This lightweight chair does not require assembly, thanks to its unique folding mechanism, and has gained global popularity for its Japanese craftsmanship and unmatched comfort.

Reused packaging
Since opening in 2010, we have reused the boxes and packaging materials we receive from our suppliers. More than 95% of the packaging we send out is repurposed, so your order may arrive in a box that has been used before.

We hope you’ll give it another life too—whether as a space rocket, a castle or simply by recycling it.

Returns
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to let us know that you wish to return it. After notifying us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.

Please contact us before returning an order. Items must be returned in their original condition. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
