Akari 21A
In 1951, renowned sculptor and designer Isamu Noguchi began the Akari Light Sculpture series, featuring over 100 hand-made lamps made of washi paper and bamboo. Named after the Japanese for "light and clarity", these lamps are crafted in the Ozeki workshop, a family-run business in Gifu. Akari lamps are cherished by design lovers everywhere for their unique style and form. The paper lanterns combine Japanese tradition and modern form, radiating soft, diffused light of superior quality.
