Artek's iconic Stool 60, designed by Alvar Aalto, is a timeless piece of Finnish design. It's a stackable chair, perfect for flexible seating arrangements, or even as a small table. Originally revealed in 1933, its revolutionary L-leg structure gave a major push to the modern Scandinavian design. Its strong structure, achieved by sawing a piece of solid birch into a fan-like shape and gluing thin pieces of plywood between the grooves, still endures today.
